We envision a world where creativity is understood not as talent or technique, but as a language of connection — to self, to others, to the unseen.
A world where artistic practice is trusted as a tool for reflection, growth, and renewal.
Where curiosity is protected, authenticity is encouraged, and transformation becomes possible through image, symbol, and material.
At the heart of this vision is a simple belief:
Art can change us. And in doing so, it can change the world.
To restore creativity as a vital, human birthright — a means of knowing, healing, and becoming.
Art-Ed Hub exists to nurture authentic expression and creative confidence through resources that blend artistic skill with psychological insight. Whether in schools, studios, therapy rooms or workplaces, we support those who use art to explore meaning, awaken curiosity, and cultivate transformation in themselves and others.
We don’t teach art as outcome.
We hold space for process, discovery, and the creative unfolding of the self.
Art-Ed Hub’s philosophy rests on three guiding principles that empower educators, artists, and learners to unlock their creative potential: authenticity, curiosity, and transformation.
These principles shape every resource, framework, and engagement across the Hub—ensuring that creativity thrives, and meaningful connections take root. Together, we honour these values to unlock the deeper potential of art and education.
Authenticity begins with the courage to uncover and embrace your truth. At Art-Ed Hub, we encourage creators to align their work with personal values, passions, and inner vision. It’s not about perfection, it’s about self-discovery and creating art that resonates with who you truly are. By peeling back societal expectations and trusting their instincts, creators forge meaningful connections with their work, themselves, and the world.
Curiosity fuels exploration and inquiry. At Art-Ed Hub, we nurture a sense of wonder that invites creators to see the world with fresh eyes. This principle honours observation, play, and experimentation—empowering risk-taking, welcoming the unexpected, and uncovering meaning in the seemingly ordinary. Curiosity keeps the artistic journey alive and ever-evolving.
Transformation is the alchemy of the creative process—a journey where ideas evolve, perspectives shift, and growth takes root. At Art-Ed Hub, we see transformation as cyclical: a rhythm of breaking down, rebuilding, and reimagining. It’s not only about the outcome but the inner shifts and resilience that emerge along the way. Through reflection and connection, creativity becomes a force that shapes both the self and the wider world.
The Artuitive Process (TAP) is a six-stage creative cycle that mirrors the rhythms of the psyche. Developed as part of Art-Ed Hub’s core philosophy, it offers a way of creating that is intuitive, symbolic, and deeply reflective.
Each stage supports a different kind of attention: from the spark of an idea to the layering of meaning, from chaos to cohesion. You don’t have to start at the beginning. The process is non-linear, intuitive, and alive.
It’s a way of creating with trust. A practice of responding, not controlling. A space where meaning is uncovered, not imposed.
Creativity isn’t linear — it moves, shifts, and deepens through cycles of experience. At Art-Ed Hub, we work with three interwoven creative threads that reflect how authentic practice unfolds.
These threads guide your process across disciplines, offering flexible, intuitive pathways for discovery, growth, and meaning-making.
Cultivate attentiveness, mindfulness, and foundational skills that root you in the present moment. This thread invites deep looking — within and beyond — to connect more fully with the world around you.
Embrace spontaneity, experimentation, and imaginative risk-taking. This is where curiosity meets courage, and where surprise becomes a source of insight.
Nurture ideas with care and intention. Through reflection and refinement, this thread transforms raw exploration into meaningful, resonant outcomes.
The Art Practice Hub is the beating heart of Art-Ed Hub, a space where education, psychology, and creativity converge. It shows how artistic thinking moves fluidly across disciplines and sectors, reminding us that creativity is a universal language.
A language that connects.
A language that inspires.
A language that transforms.
Whether you’re leading in classrooms, studios, therapy spaces, or beyond, the Hub offers flexible frameworks that support a progression of skill, confidence, and conceptual depth. Each thread offers a sequence that can shape an intentional first phase of practice — introducing materials, approaches, and ideas while cultivating trust in the creative process.
Return to the joy of making, the power of image, and the wisdom of the unconscious. Whether you’re beginning, returning, or evolving in your practice, the Hub offers invitations that encourage intuitive growth, symbolic thinking, and the unfolding of authentic creative voice.
Hi, I’m Nikki De Marco, the founder of Art-Ed Hub — a creative space where art becomes a language of transformation, connection, and belonging. I live in the Norwegian fjords, where nature shapes how I experience the world and how I make art.
As a practicing artist, international educator, and curriculum developer, I’ve spent the past three decades supporting others to unlock their creative voice. Alongside completing my MA in Artist Teacher Practice, I helped develop the new IB Visual Arts support material and co-created the official teacher workshops. I know how demanding — and sometimes isolating — the role of the art educator can be. That’s why I built this space.
Art-Ed Hub is rooted in a belief that art education should be inclusive, expansive, and alive — a tool for inner growth and collective change. In a world that so often pulls us away from ourselves and the natural world, creativity brings us back — to what matters, to who we are, and to how we belong.
Whether you’re an art educator, a lifelong learner, or someone rediscovering your artistic voice, you’re warmly invited.
Let’s reimagine what’s possible when art becomes a way of seeing, healing, and connecting — within and beyond.
My practice is shaped by three interwoven threads: teaching, making, and inner inquiry. Each informs the other in a constantly evolving creative path. Together, they guide how I work, create, and support others.
Years of guiding students and educators through creative inquiry with clarity, care, and curiosity. My teaching honours both structure and spontaneity, helping others build confidence whilst staying open to the unknown.
An intuitive, embodied connection to materials, symbols, and space. I see art as a way of listening to the world, the inner self, and the quiet truths that emerge through process and form.
Rooted in Jungian thought, my approach invites reflection, transformation, and emotional depth. I believe art is a mirror of the psyche — a space to explore, integrate, and become more whole.
This diverse background allows me to move fluidly between creative, educational, and professional spaces. Whether supporting teachers, guiding learners, or inspiring changemakers, I draw on a lifelong belief that art and imagination are powerful tools for connection, growth, and transformation.
