Is new content added regularly?
Yes. Art-Ed Hub is a living platform, and new resources are added regularly throughout the academic year.
Resources are released in response to:
classroom experience as it unfolds
questions and challenges raised by members
changes in student needs across DP1 and DP2
developments within the new IB Visual Arts course
This means the platform grows in real time, rather than being a fixed set of materials created in advance.
Some resources are carefully planned (such as full units, artist research, or assessment tools), while others emerge organically – for example:
short drawing or inquiry projects
clarification documents
scaffolded student supports
musings that respond directly to teaching dilemmas
This approach mirrors studio practice itself: reflective, responsive, and shaped by use rather than prediction.
Can I download and keep the resources?
Yes, all card-based resources are downloadable for personal teaching use. Please do not distribute
them externally.
What is the Mentorship Course?
Note: Mentorship is a 12-month support space for educators, combining curriculum guidance with structured one-to-one sessions as you teach the new IB Visual Arts course.
This mentorship is designed to support you in real time. Not through fixed, pre-recorded content alone, but through dialogue, reflection, and professional guidance as questions arise in your classroom.
Mentorship includes:
5 one-hour one-to-one sessions included within the 12-month period
Ongoing access to all curriculum resources, units, and exemplars during your active membership
Light email support between sessions (short questions + pointers)
Occasional short video replies when it’s the quickest way to clarify something
Support for the real stuff: planning, teaching, assessment.
The focus of Mentorship is not content delivery. It’s thinking alongside you as the course unfolds, responding to complexity, uncertainty, and real teaching contexts rather than idealised ones.
If you want to continue into a second year, renewal is possible depending on capacity.
