Terms of Agreement

Last updated: 5th September 2026

Welcome to Art-Ed Hub. These Terms of Agreement explain the conditions that apply when you purchase, access or use Art-Ed Hub memberships, digital resources, workshops, professional learning or other services.

Art-Ed Hub is an independent educational platform built to support educators, artists and organisations through resources, professional learning and creative practice.

By purchasing or using an Art-Ed Hub product or service, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

1. What Art-Ed Hub Provides

Art-Ed Hub provides educational resources, membership content, downloadable materials, professional learning, workshops and other creative and educational services.

What you receive depends on the particular membership, resource, workshop or service you purchase. Where access is provided through an Art-Ed Hub membership, your access will continue for the period covered by that membership unless otherwise stated.

Art-Ed Hub is an evolving educational platform. Resources may be added, revised, updated or replaced as educational requirements change and as our own teaching, research and professional understanding develop. Where an existing resource is substantially revised, the most current version available on the platform should be used.

Membership accounts are for the registered member only unless a school, group or organisational licence specifically provides otherwise. Login details must not be shared with other users.

2. Payments, Cancellation and Refunds.

Prices are shown at the point of purchase. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

Consumer rights
If you purchase as a consumer, you may have statutory rights to withdraw from or cancel your purchase under applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

Where you ask for a digital service or access to begin during a statutory withdrawal period, any consequences of doing so will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Membership cancellation
If your membership renews automatically, you may cancel future renewal at any time through your account or by contacting info@art-edhub.com. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not remove access already paid for; you will normally retain access until the end of the current paid membership period.

If your membership was purchased for a fixed period and does not renew automatically, access will simply end when that period expires unless you choose to renew.

Refunds and mistaken purchases
Outside any statutory right to a refund, withdrawal or other legal remedy, fees already paid are generally non-refundable once access or a service has been provided.

If you accidentally purchase the wrong membership or make another purchasing error, please contact us as soon as possible. Where Art-Ed Hub agrees to issue a discretionary refund or replace an incorrectly purchased membership, any non-recoverable payment-processing, banking or currency-conversion costs arising solely from that transaction may be deducted from the amount returned, where permitted by law.

This does not apply where the customer is exercising a statutory right to reimbursement. Statutory refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and without unlawful refund charges.

If Art-Ed Hub is unable to provide something you have purchased, or if there is a significant technical or billing problem that we cannot resolve, please contact us and we will work with you to find an appropriate solution.

Bank transfer
Payment by bank transfer may be available by prior arrangement. The purchaser is responsible for any bank, intermediary-bank or currency-conversion charges associated with making the transfer. Access will normally be activated once the full invoiced amount has been received.

Purchasing from the United States
Art-Ed Hub is a small independent sole proprietorship based in Norway and is not a US business.

We are therefore unable to complete US domestic tax documentation that does not apply to us, including Form W-9, or extensive institution-specific vendor paperwork as a routine condition of purchase. Where reasonably required, we can provide appropriate business information or foreign-supplier documentation applicable to our circumstances.

3. Copyright and Permitted Use

All original Art-Ed Hub content, including written materials, frameworks, graphics, videos, workshop materials, downloadable resources and teaching resources, is protected by copyright and remains the intellectual property of Art-Ed Hub or the relevant credited rights-holder.

Your membership or purchase gives you a limited right to use Art-Ed Hub materials for the purposes described below. It does not transfer ownership of the materials or copyright in them.

For your own teaching and professional practice
You may use Art-Ed Hub resources within your own teaching, professional learning and creative practice. This may include displaying resources to your own students, using them as teaching prompts, and incorporating ideas into your own planning.

Student-facing resources
Some Art-Ed Hub materials are specifically designed or clearly marked for student use. Those resources may be printed, shared digitally or uploaded to a secure school learning platform for use with your own students, provided that access is limited to the intended class or group.

Resources that are not identified as student-facing should remain for the registered member’s professional use and should not be distributed in full to students.

Please do not:

  • share your login with another person;
  • distribute Art-Ed Hub resources to colleagues who do not have their own authorised access;
  • upload teacher-only resources to shared staff drives, public websites, resource banks or unrestricted learning platforms;
  • sell, sublicense, republish or commercially redistribute Art-Ed Hub materials;
  • remove Art-Ed Hub branding, copyright notices or authorship information and present the material as your own;
  • reproduce substantial parts of the Art-Ed Hub platform to create a competing resource, course, membership or training programme;
  • scrape, systematically download or automatically extract content from the website.

Artificial intelligence and automated use
Art-Ed Hub materials may not be uploaded in substantial part to generative AI systems, datasets or automated tools for the purpose of reproducing, adapting, extracting, training on or generating derivative versions of the materials for redistribution or commercial use, unless Art-Ed Hub has given permission.

This is about protecting the materials, not about how you use AI in your own practice.

Art-Ed Hub expressly reserves its rights in relation to automated text and data mining and the use of its protected content for the development or training of artificial intelligence systems, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Sharing within schools and organisations
A personal membership is for one registered user. If several teachers or staff members wish to use the resources independently, each person requires appropriate access unless a school, group or organisational arrangement has been agreed with Art-Ed Hub.

If you are unsure whether a particular resource may be shared with students or colleagues, please contact info@art-edhub.com.

4. Educational Guidance, Examples and Assessment Information

Art-Ed Hub provides independent educational resources, examples, interpretations and professional learning materials intended to support teaching, learning and creative practice.

Every reasonable effort is made to ensure that materials are accurate, useful and current. However, educational requirements, assessment guidance and our own professional understanding may develop over time. Resources may therefore be revised, replaced or updated as new information, experience or understanding emerges.

Examples and sample materials
Examples, sample student work, model responses, suggested approaches and teaching materials are provided for illustration and professional learning. They are not intended to represent the only correct approach, an official standard, or a guaranteed route to a particular assessment result.

Assessment guidance
Where Art-Ed Hub discusses assessment criteria, course requirements or guidance issued by an awarding body or educational organisation, the material represents Art-Ed Hub’s independent professional interpretation at the time of publication.

Members remain responsible for exercising their own professional judgement and for consulting the most current official documentation relevant to their course, school or context.

If there is any difference between information provided by Art-Ed Hub and current official documentation, the official documentation takes precedence.

External organisations
Art-Ed Hub is an independent educational platform. References to the International Baccalaureate, schools, universities, awarding bodies or other organisations do not imply endorsement, partnership or official status unless explicitly stated.

Art-Ed Hub cannot guarantee assessment outcomes and is not responsible for decisions, changes, interpretations, moderation or grading undertaken by external organisations.

The development and revision of resources is part of Art-Ed Hub’s commitment to reflective professional practice. Where teaching experience, research or new understanding leads us to improve a resource, the current version available on the platform should be treated as the most up-to-date Art-Ed Hub guidance.

5. Membership Accounts, Access and Acceptable Use

Membership accounts are personal to the registered user unless Art-Ed Hub has agreed a school, group or organisational arrangement.

Members are responsible for keeping their login details secure and must not share access with unauthorised users.

Art-Ed Hub may suspend or terminate access where there is reasonable evidence of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, including unauthorised account sharing, redistribution of protected materials, scraping, fraud, or activity that threatens the security or operation of the platform.

Where appropriate, we will normally try to contact the member before taking action, but we may act immediately where necessary to protect the platform, its users or its intellectual property.

If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, please contact info@art-edhub.com as soon as possible.

6. Changes to Memberships, Resources and Services

Art-Ed Hub is an evolving educational platform. We may add, revise, reorganise, replace or retire resources, features, workshops or areas of the website as our teaching, research, professional understanding and services develop.

Updates may include changes to content, design, delivery methods, resource formats, technology or the structure of membership areas.

Where changes are made to improve, update or maintain the service without materially reducing what a member has purchased, they may be introduced as part of the normal development of Art-Ed Hub.

If a significant change would materially reduce the content, access or functionality included in an ongoing paid membership, Art-Ed Hub will provide reasonable notice where required and will respect any rights available to the member under applicable consumer law.

We may also need to change or remove material where this is necessary because of changes to educational requirements, third-party rights, legal obligations, technology, security, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Changes to prices or future membership terms will not retrospectively alter fees already paid for an existing membership period. Where a membership renews, any new price or materially different terms will be communicated before they apply where required by law.

7. Workshops and Professional Learning

Art-Ed Hub offers in-person and online workshops, professional learning, consultancy and facilitated creative experiences for individuals, schools and organisations.

The content, duration, format, participant numbers, fees and any specific requirements for a workshop will be agreed at the time of booking or set out in the relevant booking information or invoice.

Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed once any agreed booking requirements have been completed and payment, deposit or purchase order has been received where applicable.

Where payment is made by bank transfer, the purchaser is responsible for any bank, intermediary-bank or currency-conversion charges, as described in Section 2.

Cancellations and rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling arrangements may vary depending on the type, location and scale of the workshop and will normally be confirmed in writing when the booking is made.

If a participant or organisation needs to cancel or reschedule, please contact Art-Ed Hub as early as possible. Where costs have already been incurred in connection with an in-person booking, such as non-refundable travel or accommodation, those costs may remain payable where this has been agreed in advance and where permitted by law.

If Art-Ed Hub needs to cancel or substantially reschedule a workshop, we will work with the purchaser to arrange a suitable alternative date or provide an appropriate refund for the affected service where required.

Art-Ed Hub is not responsible for delay, cancellation or disruption caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, although we will make reasonable efforts to find an alternative arrangement.

Educational and experiential nature of workshops
Art-Ed Hub workshops may include discussion, reflection, metacognitive exercises, art-making, materials, movement and other embodied or experiential activities.

Participation is always educational and developmental in nature. Art-Ed Hub workshops are not psychotherapy, art therapy, medical treatment or mental-health services and should not be understood as a substitute for professional clinical support.

Participants are encouraged to exercise their own judgement about their level of participation and to communicate any practical accessibility needs or concerns that may affect their involvement.

Outcomes
Workshops are designed to support learning, reflection, creative thinking and professional development. Because participants, groups and contexts differ, Art-Ed Hub cannot guarantee a particular personal, professional or organisational outcome.

Photography and recording
Art-Ed Hub will not assume permission to use identifiable photographs, video or recordings of participants for promotional or educational purposes. Where such material is captured for use beyond the immediate workshop, appropriate consent will be sought.

8. Third-Party Platforms, Links and Services

Art-Ed Hub uses third-party providers and platforms to help deliver its services. These may include payment processors, website hosting, video hosting, email services, membership systems, analytics tools and other technical providers.

Art-Ed Hub does not control the independent operation, availability or terms of service of third-party platforms, although we take reasonable care when selecting the services we use and in managing our use of them.

Where a third-party service experiences an outage, technical fault or interruption that temporarily affects access to Art-Ed Hub, we will make reasonable efforts to restore or provide access as soon as practicable.

External links
Art-Ed Hub may include links to websites, videos, articles, artists, organisations or other external resources for educational or reference purposes.

A link does not imply endorsement, partnership or responsibility for the content, availability, accuracy or privacy practices of the external site. External resources may change or disappear without notice.

Third-party content and intellectual property
Where Art-Ed Hub refers to, embeds or links to material created by others, ownership of that material remains with the relevant creator or rights-holder.

Users are responsible for complying with any terms or copyright restrictions that apply when they leave the Art-Ed Hub platform or use third-party material.

Data and privacy
Some third-party providers may process personal data on behalf of Art-Ed Hub in order to provide their services. Information about how personal data is handled, including relevant subprocessors where applicable, is provided in our Privacy Policy and Data Protection & GDPR documentation.

9. Limitation of Liability

Art-Ed Hub aims to provide its resources, memberships, workshops and services with reasonable care and professional diligence.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Art-Ed Hub is not liable for:

  • indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, Art-Ed Hub materials or services;
  • decisions made by members, schools, organisations or other users on the basis of Art-Ed Hub resources, examples or professional guidance;
  • assessment results, grading decisions or other outcomes determined by schools, awarding bodies or external organisations;
  • temporary interruption or loss of access caused by third-party platforms, internet failures, maintenance, technical faults or circumstances outside Art-Ed Hub’s reasonable control;
  • loss arising from the misuse, unauthorised sharing or modification of Art-Ed Hub materials by a user or third party.

Art-Ed Hub does not guarantee that use of its resources, workshops or services will lead to a particular educational, professional, creative, assessment, financial or organisational outcome.

Where Art-Ed Hub is legally responsible for a failure in the service, any remedies or compensation available to the purchaser will be determined in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Professional and organisational use

Where Art-Ed Hub is purchased or used primarily for professional, institutional or business purposes, users remain responsible for how they apply the resources or guidance within their own organisation, including decisions relating to teaching, assessment, policy, staff development or implementation.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

Art-Ed Hub processes personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norwegian data-protection requirements.

We only collect and use personal data where there is an appropriate legal basis and for clear purposes connected with providing, managing and improving Art-Ed Hub services. Personal data should be limited to what is necessary, kept accurate where needed, retained only for as long as required, and protected appropriately. These are core GDPR principles recognised by the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

Further information about what data we collect, why we collect it, how long it is retained, the rights available to individuals, and how to contact us about privacy matters is provided in our Privacy Policy.

Where schools or organisations require additional information about data processing, Art-Ed Hub also provides separate Data Protection & GDPR documentation, including information about security measures, subprocessors and data-processing arrangements.

Where Art-Ed Hub uses third-party providers to process personal data on its behalf, those relationships are managed in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements. The GDPR distinguishes clearly between controllers and processors and requires processors to act on documented instructions from the controller.

Nothing in these Terms replaces or overrides the information contained in our Privacy Policy or other applicable data-protection documentation.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and the provision of Art-Ed Hub services are governed by Norwegian law, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable to a purchaser provide otherwise.

If you have a concern or believe that something has gone wrong, please contact info@art-edhub.com first. We will make reasonable efforts to understand the issue and resolve it directly and fairly.

Where a dispute with a consumer cannot be resolved directly, the consumer may, where applicable, seek assistance through the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) or another competent consumer dispute-resolution body.

For purchases made primarily for professional, institutional or business purposes, the parties will first attempt to resolve any disagreement through good-faith dialogue. If this is unsuccessful, disputes will be subject to Norwegian law and the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory right a consumer may have to bring a claim or seek dispute resolution in another competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms and Contact

Art-Ed Hub may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, business practices, legal requirements or the way the platform operates.

The date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last updated.

Minor changes, clarifications or changes that do not materially affect users’ rights may be made by updating this page. Where a change materially affects an ongoing paid membership or where notice is required by law, we will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect.

Changes to these Terms will not retrospectively remove statutory rights or contractual rights that have already arisen.

The version of the Terms in force at the time of a new purchase or renewal will normally apply to that purchase or renewed membership period, subject to applicable law.

Hi there,

Thanks for signing up! It’s lovely to have you here.

Art-Ed Hub is more than just a resource bank; it’s a growing space for creative inquiry, thoughtful teaching, and the kind of soulful exploration that often gets lost in the rush of curriculum and outcomes. Whether you’re here for the IB Visual Arts support, the creative prompts, or just a bit of inspiration, I hope you find something that resonates.

Every now and then, I’ll drop into your inbox with new resources, reflections, or behind-the-scenes updates. Nothing overwhelming, just things I genuinely think are worth sharing.

Warm wishes,
Nikki
