Four Ways of Seeing

In this project, you’ll find one natural form and observe it through four evolving stages of perception. From realism to intuition, you’ll explore how deeper seeing leads to deeper understanding.

Description

Begin by finding a natural form that captures your attention, such as a seed, pod, bark, feather, or root. You’ll photograph and collect it, then explore it using Steiner’s four modes of observation. This journey shifts your focus from outer appearance to inner essence — from drawing what you see to sensing what it holds.
